Hello World:
Today I want to talk about the place called hell. I will not go into each of the three or four terminologes or levels used in scriptures that define hell seperately. Those terms are Sheol, Hades, Gehenna and Tartarus. What I want to do here is lump all those terms or levels together in describing hell here. Just understand that any and all levels of hell, regardless of what it or they are called is bad news.
I have read several testimonies from people whom God allowed to visit hell and then God brought them back to talk about it. I research those types of testimonies from time to time. Also here, I want to present some scriptures on hell.
Hell is a place of fire, darkness and gnashing of teeth. It is also a place of wailing or much weeping by people who are in hell. They are gnashing or grinding their teeth and are weeping, because they are suffering.
Scripture Reference St. Matthew Chapter 8: Verse 11; "And I say unto you, that many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of Heaven."
Verse 12; "But the children of the kingdom shall be cast OUT into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth."
St. Matthew Chapter 13: Verse 41; "The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather OUT OF HIS KINGDOM, all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;"
Verse 42; "And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth."
Verse 43; "Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear."
St. Matthew Chapter 22: Verse 11; "And when the king came in to see the guest, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment:"
Verse 12; "And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless."
Verse 13; "Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth."
Verse 14; "For many are called, but few are chosen."
Okay, there are also more scriptures on hell that I will not go into here. Also, I have read from people's testimonies that hell has compartments, or prison cells or torture chambers; and people, who died in sin without accepting Jesus are being tormented in those cells or chambers. I read a testimony from one person, who described hell as being shaped like a human body, with parts. Basically, hell is a place of tremendous torment.
It is NOT a place to party and have rock concerts. According to multiple testimonies I have read, it stinks really, really, bad in hell. I read in the Bible and from eyewitness testimonies that hell is crowded with people and it is continuously expanding. Another thing, there are various other torments in hell in addition to the fire and heat and the outer darkness. Let me put it this way, nearly WHATEVER type of torments you can imagine, that can happen to a person, with them continuously feeling those torments, it is MORE THAN likely in hell. So, that is a very bad situation for anybody.
Also, there needs to be a cleansing or purging inside the church and kingdom of God and outside. There are people who need to get right with God and serious about living for God. There are people who are in churches, who are mingling with and among God's people, but God does NOT claim them as His, because their heart is NOT right with Him. Even though I am saying some things further below about this, I am leaving out some things I want to say.
You do not make it to Heaven or be with God by hanging out with Godly people. You do NOT have salvation, because you know some church people, or because you are friends with Christians. You are NOT excused from hell because of your associations with people who know God. You, by yourself, have to know and be with God. You receive salvation because you really, really, really, know Jesus as your personal Savior. In other words, you know for sure; and when the King comes up to you, He recognizes you as one of His.
Like I said in a earlier post, people use the saying about coming to church and coming to God, by saying, "come as you are". And I mentioned that you can come as you are, but you do NOT leave the same. You are supposed to be changed in your heart and mind for God. You MUST conform to God and the ways of God.
As, another saying goes, "get with the program". Get with God's program and be right with God and right with other people. Allow Jesus into your heart, to rule your heart; and YOU clean up your act, clean up your walk, change your clothes, and clean up and change your talk.
Also, in terms of hell again, as bad or as horrendous hell is, hell and those suffering in hell, after Judgement Day, will be sent into a greater and worser place of suffering, or an even greater hell that I will mention about in the next post.
