To Be A Prophet

Hello World:
Back when I first began blogging in 2006, I mentioned on a couple of occasions that I did not consider myself to be a prophet. In saying that at that time I did not want to make an absolute affirmation out of cautious respect in using that title. I KNOW, but, I do not want to confirm or deny either way back then or during the timeframe of this post.

Maybe at some point, later on, I may come out and specifically say for sure. I have many if not all of the characteristics of the prophets of the Old Testament Bible. I have had experiences with God, and God has spoken to me in relation to the office of prophet before. Again, I have a great deal of respect for how God uses a prophet, and I do not like to use the title so loosely. Too many people use the title of prophet or prophetess and throw it around and touting it loosely.

Also want to mention, as I have before, that I do a lot of things for God, and am not limited to just one thing. Even in the one office of prophet, there are other responsibilities and characteristics that a true prophet of God has than just being able to see or predict the future.

I am very interested in knowing the future. However, I want to know what will happen in the future from the right source, which is of Yahweh, God made possible by his Son, Jesus. Currently, God has not shown me anything to make a prediction. So, I can not predict or prophesy about anything specific until God shows me or speaks to me and gives me the okay.

God has spoken to me before about some future global events, but much of what He has shown me has already happened before I started blogging. There was something else I was shown a little ways back, but I do not have a date attached to it yet. God also showed me things about individuals around me before, that has happened.

I really want to know what will happen this year and the following years just like many other people. I also believe in telling the truth and getting it right. So, I do not want to say the wrong thing or make false predictions or false prophecies and mislead people.

I am always seeking God to show me things to come. Again, I, also, will seek God or want God's permission before I talk about it too. So, I want to obey God in how He wants me to handle or present anything He shows me.

I want some things to happen to end out this current age. Whether God speaks to me about the future or not, I hope that something major worldwide happen soon, whether it be 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, etc. Let me put it this way, each year that we come upon by the grace of God, I hope something big will happen that will draw people to the true God, bring Him glory and establish His everlasting kingdom on earth. I want to come back with some specific thoughts on 2012.

The Spirit Of Prophecy

Hello World:
Scripture Reference Revelation Chapter 19: Verse 10; "And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy."

I am kind of excited because God gave me this scripture to begin this post with. There are several people who come out and make predictions and who prophesy about the future. Not every prediction and prophecy is of God. There are many false prophets in the world and have been. Jesus talked about this.

Now in the scripture from Revelation that I used to start this post, my Bible has an interpretation for this which is good. However, God spoke to me to say something else about what that scripture mean. That is this, any true and right prophecy or prediction can only come from Yahweh God, by His Spirit through those who have truly accepted the testimony of Jesus Christ. I want to note that that is seperate from whether or not the prophecy or prediction comes to pass.

To add to the above paragraph, just because a person is a Christian or have accepted the testimony of Jesus Christ does not necessarily mean they are hearing from God to prophesy. In other words, you have to believe on Jesus, and God has to choose you for that specific gift or moment to prophesy to be true. So that does not mean that every Christian can prophesy or is automatically a prophet.

Even in the Christian community there are too many people who try to prophesy and be a prophet, and many or most wind up speaking falsely. Basically, God never spoke to them, they only thought he did. Now even among God's faithful He has only chosen a SMALL select FEW for the prophecy business. When I say business I am not talking about making money either. I am talking about speaking the right things like you supposed to.

Now, if you are not God's faithful meaning you have not accepted Jesus as Savior and Lord, you definitely should not be prophesying or making predictions about the future. I would advise everybody to NOT follow anyone who comes on the television and claims to be a prophet if they have not accepted Jesus, never mention or ignore Jesus, do not thank God and do not give God the glory or they denounce Jesus altogether. Do NOT follow them and do NOT believe them.

I was closing this post out, and the Lord told me to go back and add the following scriptures: 1 John Chapter 4: Verse 1; "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world."

Verse 2; "Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:"

Verse 3; "And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is in the world."

There is more I want to discuss in regards to predicting and prophesying about the future. I am going to leave some things and another scripture about testing a true prophet of God out, because there are situations where a person can be a false prophet and predict or prophesy something and it happens.

The bottom line is this, if a particular person does NOT have a relationship with Jesus and Yahweh God, AND Yahweh God did NOT PERSONALLY choose said particular person to prophesy, then that said person is doing something he or she should NOT be doing and is false. I want to continue with this some more next.

The Earthquake In Haiti And Considering The Poor

Hello World:
Scripture Reference, Psalm Chapter 41: Verse 1; "Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble."

This post was not planned this soon. However, I felt it is necessary for me to speak about the earthquake disaster in Haiti. I wanted to talk about the importance of giving to the poor at some point this year, as I wanted to last year, but could not get to it. So, seeing what has happened to Haiti, I want to say several things on behalf of the poor right now for starters.

The main thing is for as many people as possible who have something to give, whether it be money, food, clothing, medicine, etc, to give to the poor people in Haiti and to other poor people in other countries. I am already involved in helping a missions group in Haiti, with feeding, providing drinking water, shelter, clothing, and other needs for the poor people there.

I have been helping the poor in Haiti since last year 2009, which is well before the earthquake hit this year. In fact, I am helping missions groups in several poor countries around the world, and have been for several years now. I do not want to go into all the details in my activities, but I am involved worldwide, and not just one place. I just so happened to get specifically involved with Haiti last year.

There are many scriptures in the Bible about the poor and helping the poor. It is something that God requires every person to do, that can afford to. I just so happened to use the one scripture as a marker that God wants people to help the poor. I do not want to say that giving to the poor saves a person or brings eternal life to one's soul, because it does not. However, considering the poor and actually doing something significant to help the poor on a CONSISTENT or LONG TERM basis pleases God.

Several countries from around the world are coming to Haiti's aid after that earthquake, and one of those nations is the United States of America. All of that is good, but in accordance with what I said above, you or anybody do not want to only give to the poor or help the poor only when there is a disaster.

People should not strive to give just one time, but more than one time. If you can only give one time, then fine; however, the more times you can give the more of an impact you can make, and the more God will be pleased. God honors faithfulness to Him and His causes.

Give from your heart or be a person who really wants to give; not to be forced to give, or because you only want to be rewarded, BUT because you love God, you love your neighbor, you know it will make a positive difference and you know it is the right thing to do.

The poor can be in some cases considered your neighbor. For those who live around people who are not poor, but who have money and a decent livelihood, your neighbor is not always defined as one living right next door to you.

If you love God, you want to please God, and one of the ways to please God is by helping the poor. You want to cheerfully and faithfully help the poor. That is how I think when I give. That is how I feel when I give. I know God very well, and those are things that God requires of those who give.

Another thing, it is better to give in the Lord. Those who are in the Lord or who have Jesus Christ know what I am talking about. Again, it is good to give to the poor, but it does not save your soul to give. Giving is a work, and works does not bring salvation.

To have salvation you have to have faith in Jesus Christ. So, for those who think you will get to Heaven by giving, that is not true. Salvation for the soul is a seperate thing from giving in terms of having everlasting life or being with God or going to Heaven.

You can still give without faith in God or His Son, Jesus, people do it all the time. Ultimately God wants you and me, or each of us, to have faith in Him and His Son AND BE GIVERS ALSO.

Please do not get me wrong or misunderstand what I said earlier, you want to be rewarded, I want to be rewarded too, BUT again, we should not give just for the rewards, but there are double rewards in faith in Jesus Christ and giving. That is why I am saying it is better to give in the Lord.

Now, there is more I want to say about helping the poor and the Haiti disaster. There was a report mentioning a preacher in the U.S. who was implying that the earthquake was God's Judgement on Haiti. He then backtracked on that. However, I am not so sure he should have backtracked. There is a lot more I want to say on his comments.

I have some post already set up next, on a different subject, involving prophecy and predictions. By the way, it seems no one predicted that earthquake in Haiti. So, what I want to do, is come back to examine things in this post topic here in another part soon. I am not sure when, as I mentioned, this one was not planned.

So, I believe I will jump in between my already scheduled posts at some point with another segment on the poor, and giving and looking at the preacher's comments about God's wrath and judgement. Again, right now I would encourage those who can give, to check for LEGITIMATE organizations, get involved and help the people of Haiti.

Beginning Thoughts For 2010

Hello World:
Here we are in another year in 2010. I want to thank God as always for this new year. In this 2010 year, I thought I will be posting less, than in the previous years. However, God has given me a large amount to start off with. Also, some of the things, I wanted to post last year that I did not, because my busy work schedule threw me off, I would like to post later on this year. I have plenty to say.

I have not forgot about the posts on health and nutrition that I planned. I was hoping to end last year on health and nutrition, then God directed concerning Israel. I am going by God's leading and am getting there.

I do have one post on that subject ready and scheduled. It looks like I am projected to present the first post on health and nutrition around March coming up. So, its been pushed up, because of other pressing issues I feel led of the Lord to talk about. There is a chance that I may need to push that topic up even later, but at this point it appears to be in March to at least start. Want to mention also that if the Rapture takes place, that it will cancel all scheduled post plans.

I will go back and re-discuss or repeat some things concerning women that I mentioned in other posts before. After talking to some people, and hearing some things that are happening around the world, I felt led of the Lord to come back to things involving women.

As many of you know, I consider this blog to be very pro-God. I also consider this blog to be pro-women. What I mean by pro, I mean being in favor of. With that said being pro-women is becoming a challenge. What I mean by that is some women have attitude problems, and those women are close to causing the rest of women to lose critical support for women's rights and causes for every women. I will elaborate on a later date. Women, you are going to hear or read about it soon.

Let me mention again here, that I would not be able to blog here if it was not for God. I feel very confident to present what God is saying, but I also feel very humbled to God. Again as I said at other times before, I am nothing without God. I am very grateful that God has chosen me to say the things in this blog.

Being that this is the year 2010, I want to also say a few things about predictions. or what might happen or will happen in this 2010 year, or the near future of 2011, 2012, etc. I will go into the next post, not to predict anything, but to elaborate on thoughts of predictions and prophecies.
